Grading Procedures for 5th Grade   

A, B, C Grading Scale 95 – 100 A 92 – 94 A- 89 – 91 B+ 86 – 88 B 83 – 85 B- 80 – 82 C+ 77 – 79 C 74 – 76 C- 71 – 73 D+ 68 – 70 D 65 – 67 D- 0 – 64 F

Incomplete assignment:

·        Student will have 10% taken off their incomplete assignment

·        There will be a 0 in the grade book until the assignment is complete

·        Student will be expected to finish their incomplete assignment

Missing assignment:

·        Student will have 10% taken off their missing assignment

·        There will be a 0 in the grade book until the assignment is located

·        Student will be expected to find or re-do the missing assignment

Late assignment:

·        Student will have 10% taken off their late assignment

·        There will a 0 in the grade book until the assignment is complete

·        Student will be expected to finish the late assignment

Absentee:

·        For each school day you are absent, you will have the same amount of school days to complete your work plus one day.  

(Example:  Absent 5 days, you have 6 SCHOOL DAYS to complete your work)

·        Student will be expected to finish their missing work

·        There will be a zero in the grade book for each missing assignment
